A Chinese export silver coloured milk jug of baluster form with bamboo modelled handle and bamboo engraving to the body. With a vacant shield shaped cartouche.
 
Marked to the base with a Chinese character mark and 'MK' for a Cantonese silversmith of the early twentieth century. 
 
Marks to the base. No erasure, splits or repairs. 
 
A very important and collectable piece of Chinese silver in excellent condition, with very little signs of use and a wonderful patina.
