A Very fine quality George III coffee pot of baluster form with swan neck spout. The domed lid with wrythen finial.  Ebonised fruitwood double C-scroll handle with original silver mounting pins.  Crested to one side with a large hound.
 
Marked to the body of the pot from London 1767 by William Grundy. The lid with the maker's mark and the lion passant.
 
 This pot is in superb original condition. There is no sign of damage or repair. It stands well on a flat table and the handle has no splits, chips or cracks. It is firm in it's silver mountings. This is a very fine example of Georgian coffee pot of the highest quality workmanship in extremely good order.
