A Very Fine Pair of George III Silver Candlesticks Sheffield 1805

A superb pair of Georgian silver table candlesticks of circular form. The raised base with gadroon decoration as are the two knops. The upper one flared beneath an urn shaped capital. Conforming removable sconces. Both with original turned and polished wooden bases. Both crested to the base with a gryphon's head.
Both clearly marked for Sheffield 1805 by Nathaniel Smith and Co.
These candlesticks are in excellent original condition with no damage or repair. Both stand true and are of wonderful colour and patina. Very elegant and attractive.
