A superb pair of George III cast silver candlesticks by Ebenezer Coker London 1764. With square bases shaped and stepped with flame and shell form corners. The fluted columns rising above a rope decorated circular knop to a square knop with matching decoration. The capitals with two rope decorated bands above a central plain band. The original sconces are similarly decorated with the cast shell pattern.
Hallmarked to the underside of each base for London 1764, along with the specialist candlestick maker’s mark of Ebenezer Coker. The capitals are marked with the lion passant and maker's mark.
These candlesticks are of the very highest quality with very little wear, they are in absolutely first class original condition with no damage or repair and retain the original sconces.
